Founder and Executive Director of Remade Network, Sophie co-founded the remakery in Brixton in 2008, set up the Edinburgh Remakery in 2011 for which she won UK Social Entrepreneur of the Year in 2016 and set up Remade Network in 2018 to create a model to build a city-wide repair economy from the ground up.

Lauren joined the Remade team in June 2020 after working across a range of social and environmental projects, from developing a surplus food redistribution network with Plan Zheroes in London, to promoting the circular economy with Zero Waste Scotland. Lauren is passionate about empowering communities to move away from capitalist structures, and can sometimes be found organising ‘Disco Soup’ events dressed as a raspberry.

Lauren works across grassroots community organisations in Glasgow, including Kinning Park Complex and Repair Café Glasgow in which she holds a variety of roles focused on development and management. At Remade, she leads on events and finance.

Peter McColl is a writer and activist based in Scotland with an interest in the future economy, social and environmental justice, and making work more humane. Peter has been involved with Remade Network since its launch and advises its policy and advocacy positions.
A project manager at Glasgow Life, Neil manages a range of digital learning, participation, volunteering and digital assistance programmes including Glasgow Code Learning, Digi-Pals, Coderdojo, Universal Credit Support and Family Finances Key Workers. Neil is the lead for Digital Inclusion and Participation for the city as part of the Digital Glasgow Strategy and works with SCVO and the Scottish Government on the Connecting Scotland Programme.
I am a chartered accountant and have been self employed since 1979. Over the years I have helped set up and run a number of small to medium sized businesses and have acted as Treasurer and Chairman of a number of charities. The main business areas have been in Financial Services and Political Consultancy with the charities largely disability related.
I was an Honorary Steward at Wimbledon for 35 years and Chief Steward there for 15 years and on retirement I was appointed a MBE in the 2012 New Year’s Honours.
