Glasgow Tool Library

The Glasgow Tool Library (SCIO) is a charitable social enterprise that collects donations of tools from those who no longer use them, repairs and cares for them, and then makes them accessible to everyone through a pay-what-you-can annual membership. We also hold classes and educational events that teach sustainability and DIY skills. By creating a communal resource, our aim is to challenge unsustainable relationships between use and ownership and promote a more collaborative economy where it becomes normal for things to be owned collectively and shared communally.
